A personalized FIFA experience
Right off the bat, the FIFA Client App immediately shows you the latest updates and ongoing events. Using the app requires the user to log in with the details provided by FIFA itself, but the app itself doesn’t require a subscription or fees to use.
As mentioned, it has a couple of features that allow FIFA to offer a more personalized experience for its selected guests. For example, you can choose what matches you wish to watch personally, and the app reminds you. The app even helps you find and book flights to and from the match itself and other accommodation considerations such as hotel and transportation.
However, while the platform serves registered guests from around the world, the app is quite limited in its interface. For starters, it only works in the main languages used by FIFA: English, French, German, and Spanish. This could create a language barrier for users not using the mentioned languages. Similarly, the accommodation does not display all available options, but only gives you a set of locations to choose from.
Not for all FIFA fans
While it does create a more personalized experience, with flights and accommodation on top of match schedule reminders, FIFA Client App is unfortunately not for everyone. Aside from the language support being limited to those used by the football association, the flights and accommodation available are also limited in selection. While the options are definitely some of the best available, they also come with heavier budget requirements.
